About the artist - Jeni

Jeni embarked on her journey into abstract art in 2007 after taking a brief class with Nicola Parente, which ignited her growing passion for using art as a means of self-expression. As her medical career took her to various locations, she discovered that her art was a way to channel her experiences. Her love for art is best reflected through the simple play of color. She began by experimenting with geometric shapes, allowing her paintbrush to move freely and creating art "on the go."

Her captivating works serve as an emotional release, expressing inner feelings without being confined to specific sizes or shapes. Instead, they embody the essence of free-flowing abstraction, bringing to the surface hidden thoughts and emotions, which she channels through her art.

Jeni's creativity is evident in the wide variety of pieces she has created, all using acrylic paints on canvas and incorporating different layering techniques to build depth and texture in her work.

The Artist comes to this juncture with a treasure trove of experience in the healthcare industry. Her practice entailed microscopy, and that being a visual art naturally enabled the creation of her artistry.
